I believe that each individual is a product of the environment in which he or she was raised and is greatly influenced by the environment in which one currently surrounds him or herself. I strive to assist clients recognize individual and family strengths in therapy. Therefore, inviting significant family members to therapy sessions becomes an important task. I find that the greatest work can be accomplished when the majority of significant individuals are present in the therapy session.

My Specialty

My specialty is couples and families. I mostly work with partners who are struggling with communication issues, infidelity, trust, and conflict. I often work with families who are struggling with boundaries and family arguments, as well as issues stemming from a new marriage with children from previous relationships.

Couples and Individual Therapy

Everyone goes through difficult challenges in life. While you may have been able to cope with the challenges you’ve encountered, it’s always a good idea to seek extra support when you need it. How can therapy help me?

There are many benefits in participating in therapy. Therapists can provide support and help you find relief for issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and relationship problems. Counseling is extremely valuable in managing personal growth, relationships, and the many challenges faced in daily life. By applying therapy techniques, therapists can provide different perspectives on complicated problems or even guide you to a solution.

Medication vs. Therapy

Medication cannot solve your mental and emotional problems alone. Therapy is needed in order to address the source of your distress and behavior patterns. Check with your medical doctor and see what’s the best treatment for you.
